As Canadian brand of the year, Dove continues its innovative SHINE program in 2008 by appointing Transcontinental Custom Communications to provide original content and a fresh new look. This new perfect-bound, 52-page glossy magazine inspires women to bring out the best in their hair using Dove products. Twenty-seven women from across Canada, winners of an interactive online promotion, were photographed for the feature articles. The distribution of over 900,000 was de-duped to ensure that no household got more than one copy – eliminating waste and maximizing cost.
